Biography Bill Griffin is a retired educator who has a passion for children and children's literature. He holds a B.S. and M.A. degree in early-childhood education and a M.A. and ED.S. degree in Educational Leadership. Bill began his educational career as a Kindergarten teacher and ended his career as principal at Florence Middle School in Florence, AL. Bill has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys riding his motorcycle and 4-wheeler, fishing, boating. He is adventurous and loves to travel. Many of his ideas for writing are created during his travels. Bill, and his wife, Janet, have three children. They reside in Florence, Alabama, along with their dog, JD, and goldfish, Griffin. Bill travels across the country speaking on various educational subjects. He is available to speak in schools and at conferences.
